Since 2009, the SCHOLLGLAS Group has been present in the furniture metropolis of East Westphalia with a special location for decorative glass products: Here, around 130 employees produce and process float and safety glass (ESG) as well as other surfaces according to customer requirements for the top brands in the furniture and kitchen industry. The product portfolio includes glass, plastic and ceramic surfaces as well as extensive services in the context of sanitation, furniture and lighting. Technically sophisticated manufacturing processes are used for this purpose – such as CNC, water-jet and sandblasting as well as various printing and painting processes.
Under the EURASPIEGEL® brand, which has been in existence since 1973, high-quality crystal and LED mirrors for sanitary wholesalers and the contract sector are manufactured and sold in exclusive manufactory production. Every year, many thousands of end customers in the DACH region rely on EURASPIEGEL® for renovation or new construction projects for their bathrooms, true to the motto: For the best picture in the bathroom. It is no coincidence that our Herford production is located in the immediate vicinity of the well-known kitchen and furniture manufacturers in northern Germany, and so we manufacture a large part of high-quality glassware, mirrors and ceramic elements for furniture in kitchens and bathrooms. Our production is closely linked to the manufacturing processes of our customers – for the benefit of the shortest possible throughput times, maximum flexibility of batch sizes and true to our very high quality standards.
In addition to the well-known industrial customers, the manufactory production and distribution of our own premium mirror brand EURASPIEGEL® is also an important cornerstone of the Herford location. EURASPIEGEL® is not only about the high-precision processing of mirror glass, but also about the development and construction of complex LED solutions for a sophisticated premium illuminated mirror portfolio.
Our exciting business model for flat glass offers a wide range of jobs at all qualification levels along the process chain – in the commercial as well as in the commercial sector. For example, our colleagues work in internal and external sales, in work preparation, of course in production itself on the machines, in shipping or as drivers of our modern delivery fleet, with which we bring our glass to the customer. Last but not least, we employ specialists for quality assurance, maintenance and development of our large machine park.
